I need a song to audition to sing for a concert at my school.?

My school is having a big concert and I want to audition for a solo, my voice is 2nd soprano or alto, I can sing high but I will not sing songs that are all high notes, my teacher likes newer songs. Or any Disney Female Solo songs, he also likes songs from musicals, such as wicked. Or movies like Burlesque. I will take any songs, please help. I'm so stuck. Thanks in advance.(:

Try: Journey To the Past from the movie Anastasia It's not too high and you could probably hit every note but there is one high part for altos. I believe second sopranos shoul be able to hit it (Im a first soprano and it feels a little low for me) But just try it ;)

I wouldn't recommend "Wicked" because it is VERY overdone. If you want to do Disney try Reflection from Mulan, something from The Little Mermaid, or Beauty and the Beast. Musical theatre songs from Music Man (sing Marian's songs) or Rodgers and Hammerstein are also great! Good luck!
