Clarinet and Trumpet duets?

The most common types of trumpet and clarinet are both in B flat, so they could play the same music without having to transpose. Basically, both people could play the same sheet of music and have the notes sound the same. As for sounding good-- that depends on the musicians, but I don't see why it couldn't sound good. However, the trumpet is usually louder than the clarinet, so both people would have to adjust their dynamics to have a good balance.

There is a duet book Amsdens Progressive duets in treble clef that stays in medium range in both parts. St. Jacome trumpet mathod has good ones also.
