How to become a middle school cheerleader over the summer?

  • I want to try out for cheerleading in august for my school team. so i want to know any tricks, advice, or like a routine that I can practice every day to become more flexible and strong. I been doing gymnastics for one year, so I know how to do a cartwheel, roundoff, and a handstand(I can only do it for like one second) I'm flexible but have like no upper arm strength. Also I need to know how to do a back walkover without a spotter. And what i can do to improve my splits. TENS POINTS FOR BEST ANSWERS.

    hey! i think you should for sure try out!!!!! I know that there are courses that are offered practically everywhere where its a COMBINED cheerleading, dance, and gymnastics class! You should definitely look into that! Also, I have found a lot of videos on youtube teaching moves and routines, and that would definitely help!!! I am trying out for cheerleading...
