What is the order of the people in charge of a ship?

What sort of things did columbus consider 'out of order' on his ship if you were sailing with him?

  • im a 33 year old catholic living in england origin of spain im an english-european medieval fanatic studier beginner. im especially a christopher Columbus fanatic he is my favourite european historical figure. here i ask ; if you were on columbus's ship, what sort of things would make him angry? things that he would consider 'bang out of order'? would it be things like disturbing him in his quarters when he was trying to map read? disagreeing with him about the coordinates and directions of the voyage? trying to take charge on the ship?........fooling about on the ship, getting drunk and smashing glasses?..............rowdy noisy behaviour when he was trying to sleep at night? behaving in a 'clownish' manner or starting a fight with the ship mates and columbus himself? what actions would he take ? draw his sword, hold it to the throat of the trouble causer and order him to 'walk the plank '? ....let the sharks teach the crew member a lesson. hack off the ship mates arm or beat the living daylights out of him on the deck then throw him overboard ? poke him with his sword and make him eat glass? shove a sword up the ship mates backside?
