How can I get Karl Marx small statue?

What would Karl Marx think of the statue of liberty?

  • Answer:

The Statue of Liberty was built in 1886. Karl Marx died in 1883. Thomas Jefferson died in 1826. However, Marx called for a stateless society that advocated the principles of common ownership of the means of production, and the American and French revolutions were the closest in bringing forth his theory (which I believe is just a theory, as common ownership will not be obtained without a state enforcing such society). Jefferson was an advocate for representative democracy, the freedom of religion and etc. I cannot say what they would think.

I think it is very easy to mistake Marx's vision for the world, with the way Communism was implemented in both Russia and China, they were very different. I think, ironically, Marx's vision, and christianity, in their purist forms, are much akin to one another, and I rather think Marx would aspire to much of what Liberty stands for. How would Jefferson feel about Marx, or Liberty?
