What is life like at a big traditional college or university?

Pleeease help with this silly college essay :'( What perspective will I bring to university life?

  • I have pretty much no idea what I can say, because my perspective on life is mostly bitter, envious, and hateful of others, and being honest about that probably wouldn't give me the best odds. I'm thinking about saying how I'm accepting of most lifestyles, for example having tried out everything from Christianity to Satanism at some point in my life... but maybe the Satanism thing would bring down my odds, also. What do they want to hear? :'(

    So, do you at least have an open mind? I would say that. You'll bring an open mind 'cause you've tried different things and are willing to try more. Then try to make it work. Try to let go of the bitterness, envy, and hate, and you'll most likely have a better time at any college than you expect.

The answer is in the question. Tell them what they want to hear. It's not difficult to imagine, and if you don't want to make that small effort then why go to university anyway?
