What's the best blogging platform?

I'm looking for a blog with a clever theme and something that'll get traffic. Can someone give me any recommendations? Please if possible no one affiliated with any sites or companies, just honest recommendations and advice. I'm looking to do both articles and display art. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!
