Does true love really exist?

  • I don't know how anyone could think it does. Being in love is a state of mind.. just like happiness. The overwhelming feeling of love doesn't just strike. When you feel love it's because your brain has thought of everything surrounding it. Like.. hey I'm single, I want to find a woman, she's nice, attractive, intelligent, likeable.. I've made my decision, I'm in love!". If you haven't fallen in love it's because you haven't yet committed to yourself that you want to find someone. When you do, that's when you notice good traits in women/men, after you start to LOOK. I know because I've come across many women I'd love to date, and could picture having a life with them, but I've never even got past the first step because I'm not ready for a partner now. I want to get my own life on track first. All those women are possible matches.

    Wow that's very technical...maybe you should feel your way more...I found true love....I have been with her apparently by accident by your count for 20 years and if she died or left I know without a doubt my life would be over...it is scientifically proven you can (and I would) die from a broken heart. I can concede that true love may be rare but it is real.
