Evolution, NO one knows what is going on!?

  • I think that our main problem as human beings is that we are in a stage of evolution, and were in an adolescent stage, and were certainly passing where we used to be. Just our potential for evolving above the basic fight or flight instincts and our potential from evolving above animal brutality, anger, and jealousy ect and all these things that we think that we need in order to compete and survive. We have potential to rise above that, and that is what yoga is all about, and that's what meditation is all about, and isolation tanks, and people who are psychedelic enthusiast. What thats all about is this....this struggle up this slippery slope to get to the top to have just a little better view of what the world could be. And i think thats the potential that we have inside of us, its all moving towards that. Human understanding, the idea of human enlightenment, you know, this quest to "get your sh*t together". Its all moving away from these nonsensical animal instincts to something higher and more evolved, and i think that potential is the only good thing human beings have. Its like we have this potential for one side or the other. We have this potential to be like an evil government that corrupts the citizens or we have this potential to be a brother, sister, someone who loves you like they love family, like they love themselves. We are here in this temporary situation as one gigantic hive, one super organism, and the more love you spread out, the more positive energy you spread out, the more it comes back to effect you. And it goes out in ripples because the people you effect, they effect other people aswell. And the more positive you spread out, literally you can change your world. You can change the world of the people you came in contact with, and i think THAT is what human beings are slowly starting to realize. And that may be what god really is. What god might be is everything. What its not is a bunch of dudes in some robes that want to have sex with your kids, that's not god, that's nonsense, and the fact that these presidential candidates and all these knuckle heads that want to be world leaders that want to guide us towards a better life. There not guiding us anywhere, its business as usual, there is no evolution whatsoever in the political process, there's no evolution whatsoever amongst these f*ckheads that talk, they are decades and decades behind the progressive American culture. These people who are at the front of the line of thinking, these bastards are decades behind, we are all going through this life completely clueless. We are like people in a space ship that woke up from hyper sleep and were going through the manuals and no one knows how to run the ship, thats what we are like. And there is a few of us that are older that are pretending to the younger people, " listen don't worry we got this, everything is going to be fine, were going to have a meeting with congress were gonna work this all out." These people are trying to playcate the rest of us, who are just like them. And no one knows what the f*ck is going on.

You should look up theories on globalization, and how Obama fits into the plan. Its hard to put the world into words, and it is words we live by. The intellect is evolving, but only if people apply their minds to knowledge. If they watch drivel tv their whole lives they won't for moment catch a glimpse of the larger play that is taking place. Humans are a type of universal animal that I call star gazers, one day we may leave the nest that is the earth. In doing so I have theorized, contemplated over, what we would do living on other planet's and its just the same: experience; life is life, as a song is a song.

nope, people who procreate are the ones that are driving evolution. One can do all the yoga and meditation one wants, it doesn't change human nature.

Even the clueless can be leaders if they can bring everyone together without killing each other. Leaders aren't just guys who want the power, or say that they're the best and they're gonna make changes. Real leaders are just people who are in tune with others and know how to keep them together, that's all a leader does. They're not all brains and brawn, that's why there are 'other' people. Anyway you're theory reminds me a lot about something I read in 'Sophie's World', and I'd agree with you if this hadn't been already going on for thousands of years. So i half agree, a little... I'd just say that there is so much we don't know that so no matter what, 'humans' will always be clueless.

i agree with you on some level, and i believe everyone should do yoga and benefit from its grounding central philosophy of mediation. your comment that humanity is a temporary situation is troublesome though, it discounts the beauty of humanity, our struggles, follies, and findings. would life be as beautiful without the yang to the ying? not to discredit human suffering; i've experienced more than any human should, but that is also what makes me human, the choice to move on and still find beauty. having gone through enormous adversity, i believe there's a responsibility to teach others how beautiful each day is, not punish them for not realizing this themselves.
