you really need to raise your GPA. most of the kids at the Academy were in the top 5% of their class during high school. you also need leadership positions and see if you can make the Varsity wrestling team. most kids applying have been on at least one varsity team. don't forget about getting some REALLY good SAT scores. sounds like you have some work to do. remember that you're going to be going up against some of the best and brightest students in the country. the best advice i can give you, other than that above, is to APPLY EARLY. this is a really tough process, but if you get your head in the game then you can do it. i wish you the best of luck. all that community service is great, but if it's getting in the way of your academics and sports, then you need to cut down on it a bit. just keep working hard. who knows, maybe i'll see you there at the Academy.
