Bodybuilding, past and present?

Bodybuilding: eating like this would i still put on muscle and lose fat?

  • Im gunna start gettin into the whole bodybuilding side of things as to build muscle and lose weight. I am already a big guy with alot of muscle but im stiff "Fat". Ive recently lost 5st over the past 8 months .... gone from 24st 3lbs ---> 19st4lbs Now that was just through eating around 1200 - 1500kcals a day and generally working out. The first 4 moneth i worked out pretty much everday but the past 4 ive havent although i have been active in running and cycling more. Ive been reading on bodybuilding and key is a High carb/High protien diet with regular 6 small balanced meals with a different workout each day. My question is because im bigger eating like this would i still put on muscle and lose fat? or would i just build muscle and the fat will stay? Should i cut down because ive still got some body fat?? anytips on this kinda topic would be apreciated :)

To lose fat eat more fat and protein and less carbs. To bulk up add some carbs in there.

I agree the new diet is best. Several smaller meals is better than a few large ones. U might want to reduce the carbs in your new diet if u feel u are retaining too much fat.
