(i assume and hope that you are NOT using an electric razor hahahahaha.) kyle, what, if anything are you putting on your face? if nothing except plain water, that will irritate. shampoo will also irritate. soap can irritate, depending on the brand. i, too, shave in the shower, and i use soap, with no side effects. however, if you find that shaving in the shower keeps leaving you irritated, shave before you shower, using a good quality gel-style shaving cream containing aloe or that is made for sensitive skin. and make sure that your razor is nice and sharp -- a dull razor is a disaster. i change mine (disposable) about every two weeks, but you may need to change yours once a week. sam (loyalfriend [email protected])

1. Place a warm towel on your face before you shave( it will raise your beard) 2. Clean your razor after each shave. 3. Change your razor after the third shave. 4. Never let your beard get too long. Shave daily if you have to.
