Does my hair fall out too easily?

Super oily scalp, dandruff and hair fall !?

  • PLEASE. I need hair help...? The top of my head does NOT like me. I have a number of problems with my hair, and they really annoy me. First of all, I have dandruff. It's REALLY noticeable because I have naturally black straight hair. I've been using Head and Shoulders for a while, and it hasn't helped. (Like 6-8 months now.) A few years ago, I tried Selsun Blue, and it turned my hair reddish brownish from completely black. So that's not an option. Also, I used to use that Neutrogena T-Gel shampoo, but it smells HORRIBLE. Also, I'm almost positive that the coal/tar used in that shampoo can cause cancer. I've tried leaving eggs in my hair as a conditioner, but it hasn't really done anything. So that's one problem. Another is that I have to use shampoo every day, because my hair turns SUPER greasy/oily after one day of not washing it. The thing is, if I use shampoo and conditioner, it'll be okay right after I wash my hair with them. But whenever I wake up the next morning after using the shampoo and conditioner (both from Head and Shoulders), my hair is super greasy. So most of the time I only use shampoo, which is good, my hair is EXTREMELY dry that day after washing it only with shampoo. The next day, my hair is a little greasy, which isn't so bad, but I feel gross. When my hair's greasy at all, my dandruff loves to slip away from my scalp and out into the open because the oils in my hair make it easy to come out. Great. Another problem. My hair loves falling out. It's been like that for about 8-9 months, and I don't think it'd be caused by having constant stress for that many months. So, my request is that someone could help me by giving me only a few things that would make my hair and dandruff improve. I'd really like it if these these wouldn't cancel each other out (like a hydrating shampoo for my scalp, but leaves my hair greasy or something). Please help. I'm begging you. Thanks to anyone who bothers to read this/answer.

  • Answer:

Don't shampoo every day. Skip a day. You are drying out your scalp & that causes dandruff & flakiness. Usually, once a month - but maybe in your case - once a week - Mix 1/4 cup vinegar - (Brown or white doesn't matter) into a 2 quart pitcher of warm water. After shampooing & rinsing - then rinse again, but use the warm vinegar water to rinse. This will remove grease, oil, grime, Mousse, hair spray, etc. & dandruff. It will leave your hair soft & shiny & help condtions your scalp. The vinegar odor will dissipate once your hair is dry. DO NOT USE A HAIR DRYER - it just dries out your scalp & makes your hair look dull & lifeless. Always towel dry your hair. Take a B-Complex tablet daily to help promote healthy hair growth. You need to dump the junk food, fast food garbage & sugary sweet soda's. No smoking - no dipping - no chewing - no beer/ale - no booze & no drugs. Eat healthy, get plenty of fresh air, sunshine & exercise. YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!!!!

There isn't a way to make your hair grow faster, you can heavily condition it to bring out natural oils in your hair buy moistursing shampoo etc. also put hair masks on to revive your hair so it doesnt snap off due to split ends. :D
