Help! My boyfriend is smoking behind my back?

Help my boyfriend reduce smoking? ?

• My boyfriend's going to be 18 in just a month and a half..and he chain-smokes all day, more than a pack a day! I try not to yell at him too much about it, because it's caused fights in the past, but I'm very worried about his health at the rate he's taking it. He promises up and down that he'll stop "when he needs to" (i.e., when we're older, perhaps with children's lives to consider), and he constantly reassures me that "no one in my family has died of lung cancer at an age under 60", but I don't imagine it will be that easy to quit after years of chain-smoking. Are any of you experienced, or perhaps have a suggestion that will help him? Thank you!

  As an EX smoker i didn't take kindly to being nagged to stop smoking, but after i did it was the best thing i did for myself as breathing improved a lot , take him for a jog and do things that make him out of breath , he might just click on to the fact that he cant breathe , or sew his lips together ........ lost my 25 yr old brother to cancer this year so u takes ur chances u pays the price ....
