Is it normal to have a deformed and rather odd feeling tonsil?

    ask a physician and/or parent but it may have to do with voice-changing or you could have Infectious causes of tonsil symptoms Tonsil symptoms may be caused by infectious disorders including: Bacterial infections (such as group A beta-hemolytic Streptococcus) Common cold viruses (such as adenovirus, rhinovirus, influenza, respiratory syncytial virus) Mononucleosis (viral infection) Serious or life-threatening causes of tonsil symptoms In some cases, tonsil symptoms may be a symptom of a serious or life-threatening condition that should be immediately evaluated in an emergency setting. These include: Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) Lymphoma Oral cancer This isn't to scare you but I don't particularly remember this tonsil feeling, could need to have them removed like my brother, it's a very common procedure and they give you ice cream!
