Why are my nipples puffy and how can I get rid of it.?

Ok well im 15 and When I was about 13 I noticed my nipples were kinda puffy. It's pretty embarrising. I have a six pack but I cant show it off because my nipples stick out and its really annoying. When I press them they hurt and I have no clue what the problem is. Ive heard of something called Gynecomastia but that sounds too serious. Well, none of my friends have it and I dont want it. How can I get rid of it?
