I want to know more about Pharmaceutical reps.

I know that if you want to increase your muscle and weight, you have to have heavy weights and low reps?

  • (6 - 8 -10 - 12 - 15) with whatever sets ( usually 4-6 sets). but he doesnt listen. he exercises with monotonous reps after reps with low weight and high (usually 15 - 20) reps. I think he is making fitness of his body. but not having big muscle and weight. you tell me, is it right to give low reps high weight or high reps lower weight to increase muscle and weight? he thinks, he is working with maximum weight, but you cannot or dont have to reach 20 reps(??) with heavy weight?

Just increase the weight some sets and you WILL get stronger.Low weight and alot of reps doesn't do much for your strength to,thats more for endurance and toning,but just adding 5 pounds more every now and then will get you stronger.

High reps with low weight will tone your muscles but wont increase your size and weight. For increase size, I would say no more that 3 sets of 12 reps max. If you can do 12 reps at a give weight, time to increase the weight.
