How can I find a job in USA?

Studying engineering in Russia... can i find a job in USA?

  • I am planning on going to Volgograd State Technical School in Russia to study engineering. I am from the USA, and am sick of life here and would love to live in Russia and study for my profession. I have been there before and love the country and culture. My question would be how would this degree be seen if i decided to move back to America. The university states its graduates are employed in over 70 countrys.... so what about the USA???

    I'd enquire at the licensing board for whichever state you might return to, to see if the degree meets their academic requirements for your P.Eng or P.E. license. Best done before you leave USA - but if not, I'm sure a quick google search will reveal the contact info for the office in question.

Most engineers, such as structural, chemical, electrical, etc., have to be licensed and that is done by examination process which includes a Fundamentals of Engineering exam, a certain length of experience, and a Professional Engineering exam. This is carried out by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.
