Strictly speaking, "rusting" is the oxidation of ferrous alloys, eg, iron and steel; copper and bronze do not and cannot rust. WHich will corrode faster depends on conditions; aqueous ammonia will corrode copper and its alloys quickly, but won't attack steel much.
