How is saveetha college of engineering?

What type of engineering should I study in college if I want to go into weapons engineering?

  • I understand it sounds EXTREMELY immature - learning engineering to make weapons. But I just find weapons technology really interesting. The school I'm attending next year offers these following engineering majors: * Applied Mathematics * Applied Physics * Biomedical Engineering * Chemical Engineering * Civil Engineering * Computer Engineering * Computer Science * Earth and Environmental Engineering * Electrical Engineering * Engineering Management Systems * Engineering Mechanics * Financial Engineering * Industrial Engineering * Materials Science and Engineering * Mechanical Engineering * Operations Research * Sustainable Engineering (minor only) I was thinking biomedical engineering or mechanical engineering would be the coolest to pursue and most applicable to what I want to do.

  • Answer:

Weapons engineering is the design, development, testing and lifecycle management of military weapons and systems. It draws on the knowledge of several traditional engineering disciplines, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, electro-optics, aerospace engineering, materials engineering, and chemical engineering..... choose mechanical engineering... its good and also.. Mechanical engineering overlaps with aerospace engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, petroleum engineering, and chemical engineering to varying amounts....

Electrical or mechanical. School doesn't teach you much except how to think. On the job is where the real mentor-ship begins.
