Is it possible to convert my Aircraft Maintenance Engineering diploma in a degree? help me out.?

So suppose i'm an AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer), now i want to do aeronautical engineering. What is the procedure? Do the whole 4 years BENG aeronautics? or there's an easy way out? Like a year or a year and a half more of study to get the aeronautical engineer degree? I live in Pakistan, i'm looking forward to get into this aviation field as soon as possible. Any Help over this would be appreciated. and hey, i can study abroad if i have to get aeronautical engineerin' degree. So Some nice suggestions? kinda am stucked here. heh : |

It'll still probably take close to 4 years. Aircraft maintenance engineering is not engineering in the modern definition of the word. It's basically a technician job; some countries no longer call it engineering.
