What are some mechanical engineering software necessary or useful to be proficient in?

Mechanical Engineering or Software Engineering ?

  • Hey , i finished high school and i am planning to enter a University in America I still didn't decide yet what to study but the two things i want more are Mechanical Engineering and Software Engineering .. i did some career tests and the result was IT ,, i really love mechanics and Computers but i want something which is inside engineering , so i decided either Mechanical or Software , However many people warned me from mechanical engineering and more warned me about the software engineering , they said that salaries are low and u can't find a good job easily . i really need someone to help me in choosing !!!! thanks alot ,
