Is engineering a good field to go into?

Which engineering field should I go into?

  • I am very good at math, I have always gotten As on tests without even studying the material other than listening during the teachers lecture and I always passed and understood science related things easily also always gotten As. Now I am wondering which engineering field should I go to, mechanical or electrical engineering. If someone would be kind enough of telling me what each does and what you would recommend me to go into. Right now I'm a sophomore in high school taking chemistry(required) and Pre-Calculus, I already have all my math credits finished.

If your grades are good you shouldn't have a problem changing especially since there there are numerous dropouts the first year.
