Can someone explain how solar sailing could work?

    Solar sails are literal sails in space that works sorda like solar panals but it uses the raw energy of the suns or stars rays by catching the suns energy particals it uses it to propell itself... Think of it as a old 15 centurary ship it uses wind to move solar sails are the same way but uses the energy of the suns wind..... But the only problem is you can actualy go too fast and you will not be able to stop and would be hard to controll somthing going super fast
