What are some hands on Computer Engineering and other types of engineering colleges that are good?

Hi guys i'm looking for a hands on Computer Engineering and other types of engineering colleges that are legit and really good , i really would like to be hands on when learning something instead of reading from a book all the time, you get what i'm saying? can you guys a name a few if you know any please thank you?

The two that come to my mind are : RIT Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester New York, or ECPI Virginia Beach, Virginia. You might consider broadening your consideration however, because most large scale colleges could set you up with an intern program which is exactly that hands-on approach.
