An Invert level is the level of the inside bottom of a pipe. A Reduced level is any level that is relative to a standard Datum. For example a pipe might be laid across a site. The invert level may be related to a local site grid or to a National Datum (for land levelling this is normally Mean Sea Level (MSL), for marine survey it is usually Chart Datum which the level of the Lowest Astronomical Tide (LAT). In general terms there is no relationship between an Invert level and a Reduced level.
