How would a foreign language be beneficial to a medical examiner?
-
I'm doing an essay on what occupation I want to persue, and it asks me to list three or more specific examples and elaborate on how a foreign language would be beneficial to my career (a medical examiner) So how would being bilungual help a medical examiner? And If there is no need to be bilingual as a medical examiner, what should I say? Thank you!

Answer:
in any profession, being bilingual is a positive thing. why you say? Because : 1. There are many different types of languages all over the world and knowing more than one language creates an opportunity to have more benefits. 2. Knowledge is power, therefore the more you know the more people will find you reliable. 3. It also makes you look good, it makes people surprise that you are able to learn more than one language. 4. especially if you work in a medical department, patients can be from all sorts of places because people tend to be diverse so the more you know the more you might even have a better pay!

Does a medical examiner have to communicate with patients veery often? If so, learning a second language would certainly help you communicate with patients who don't speak English. That is, of course, assuming that they speak the language that you learned in your studies.

sometimes you need to speak with the dead persons family to gather information about what might have killed them. if the family members do not speak english, being able to speak to them in whatever other language they speak would obviously be very helpful.
