You are not Native American(Indian) so you don't have one. They are based on family heritage and or spiritual guides.

There is a Facebook application that is quite the rage right now. It asks you for your name and tells you your Native American name. It annoys the Native Americans who answer questions here because it assumes all Native Americans speak the same language, so that you can just translate, the way you can say "Mary" in English is "Maria" in Spanish. It also annoys them because only Native Americans have Native American names; just like only Chinese have Chinese names, usually. There are 500+ Native American languages in the USA alone. It would be physically possible to build an app that would look up the meaning of a European name - "Peter" means "A rock", for instance - and translate it into Hopi or Navajo or Seminole. That isn't what the Facebook app does, though. It picks two words at random from a list. I've written a simple version of the app for you. Pick one from Column "A' and one from column "B". That will give you a name right out of a 1950's TV Western. A___________ B____ Black_______ Elk White_______ Horse Blue________ Deer Red_________ Moose Sitting_____ Bull Running_____ Eagle Standing____ Hawk Leaping_____ Coyote Dancing_____ Wolf Note that almost any name of the form {color} + {warm-blooded animal} will sound reasonable to the ignorant, but if you are male and pick "Mauve Stallion", people will think you are gay. Note again that unless you are a Native American by birth or, in rare cases, adoption, you won't really have a Native American name; this is just for fun.
