It is best to read plenty of newspapers in English such as "The Times" or "The Telegraph" or "The Guardian" for example in the UK or as many magazines as possible and to listen to radio stations such as BBC World Service/ Radio 4 etc.....LBC...... It is best to have a dictionary on you or a phrase book at all times and to carry a notebook for helping your understanding of English.....it will take time depending on how determined you are to put in the effort and you can take a lifetime because it is so vast! Good luck!
