Where does my last name Young come from?

• I am wondering where does my last name Young come from... my last name comes from my mother who had an asian father and an african mother. My grandpa is asian (John Young) and thats where my last name comes from but I dont know where exactly... My mom told me her father was chinese but im not sure if thats true, can somebody help me out? Could it be chinese or korean?? Cuz one of my korean friend has Young for her last name and I hear lots of korean people with Young in their name... btw my grandpa died when my mom was 6 and my grandma died when my mom was 16 so thats why I dont have proof that my grandpa is chinese like my mom said
