How do I write on a document in my email?

Teach me how to write clear email messages?

  • I usually send emails at my workplace to people those who came from various countries in which English is not spoken as their native language. Hence, I want to write messages as clearly as possible so that they can understand clearly. Now, I have a question. I sent a email to ask a person if the attachment document is need to be changed. Actually, I need his reply even if it is alright. In this case, what should I have said? I wrote as follows: Please let me know if any revisions are required (even though there are no changes to be made, inform me the fact that there are no changes). I know I repeated the same things, but I was worried he could understand clearly. He is not a native speaker of English, but very good at. I think the way of saying something differ from countries; sometimes I don't know how far I should clarify.

  • Answer:

To be honest I simply would have said: Please inform me that the document has been received and everything is ok, if any revisions/changes are needed please list.
