Will i need to learn welsh?

Answer:
No. Only about 20% of people in Wales speak Welsh (but they will also speak English) and everything that is in Welsh will also be English. It might be worth learning a few basics, but you probably won't even use that. Don't worry about your accent - nealy everyone in Wales will be familiar with the Irish accent.

How old are you? You don't have to learn Welsh unless you're attending a state school and are aged 16 or younger. 99% of Welsh people speak English perfectly, so they will have no trouble understanding your accent. Yes, everything is in Welsh, road-signs etc., but they're also in English, and few people actually pay attention to the Welsh. Hope you enjoy it here.
