Are text books necessary when studying?

Any good Spanish books for "beginners"?

  • I'm not necessarily a beginner (I've taken 4 years of honors Spanish and am majoring in Spanish as a freshman in college next year), but I'd like some good Spanish books that will just refresh my memory instead of forcing me to look up a hundred words on each page. I generally know all verb tenses and have a decent vocabulary, but I have some difficulties with advanced Spanish text. Are there any really good Spanish books for someone in my situation? Also, it would be nice if the books are somewhat entertaining... but if not, that's okay too. It is for studying purposes.

Hola! No se que recomendarte porque no se cuales son tus gustos. En mi caso, leí un cuento que se llama " Cartas de mamá " de Julio Cortázar y me gustó mucho. Me imagino que no debe ser tan complicado de leer pero no creo que encuentres palabras extrañas porque es un cuento sencillo. Besos
