How do i learn to speak fluent spanish?

  • i know that when i speak spanish, i will have a bad accent but i want to learn to speak fluent spanish. i do not have any friends that i could converse with in fluent spanish so i don't really know what else to do. also, i'm in spanish 3 at my school and i'm better at writing spanish than speaking it. so how do i learn to speak spanish?

Watching movies in spanish could help you either. And if you can afford it, travel to Spain to be immersed and surrounded by spanish speakers.

You are going to have to be around someone who is a native whose first language is Spanish. I suggest finding a part time job where a lot of Spanish people go to? I have a Spanish grocery store and when I shop there, I like to just listen to them talk there. However, you may have to wait and just study abroad in college to Spain, Costa Rica, etc.

Spanish Telenovelas could make your accent sound more Spanish. That's the only thing that could help you to improve your accent if you don't have friend that speak Spanish.
