How can I improve my Spanish listening skills quickly?

I had the same problem with spanish, I didn't understand the spoken language, so I decided I would start listening to spanish radio. in about a week, I could make out a lot of words, and now I can understand almost everything of the spoken language. so the only way you can get better is to LISTEN. and I know it may feel like you're never going to understand anything at first, but once you start making out words and understanding the context, it's a great feeling! I also recommend watching spanish tv shows without subtitles. if you have subtitles, you'll only look at them and never really try to understand what they're saying. but if you don't, then you are more motivated to understand what they're saying in order to understand what the show is about. I'm not saying it's bad to watch subtitled movies and stuff like that, maybe you can start of with that and then move over to watching un-subtitled shows. good movies to watch with subtitles are all pedro almodovar movies, excellent all of them! I think that listening is the most natural way of learning a language(well of course you'll have t study grammar as well), I mean that's how children learn their native language! Good Luck! :)

Well there are a bunch of sites out there designed to improve listening skills. Just google search it. Or my favorite way, blare the Spanish music and translate! May I suggest Shakira, Justo Lamas, and Enrique Iglecias.
