How can I improve my english spoken ?

  • Hi ! I'm French and I do appreciate the US culture. However, I've got a problem of getting the english spoken. Indeed, I find that it's easy to get the english spoken from an interview, a documentary or a TV show but when it's about a movie, it's quite different... I just would like to know why I've got that problem and I'd like you to explain me how I could improve that difficulty. I would also like to know if the english from an interview/documentary/TV show is the same you meet when you chat/talk... I thank you in advance !

Remember the adjectives come before the noun in English!

First say "improve the way I speak" or "spoken-english" Sometimes we use slang like, No way instead of no fridge instead or refridgerator burger instead or hamburger I feel like a Coke instead of I want a coke

You'd have to spend time in the country if you really want fluency in modern-day English, just as I'd have to spend time in Spain/France to perfect my French and Spanish. Otherwise you'd just have to research online etc. Even spending time on Yahoo! Answers in English would help.
