How To Speak English?

How should i do to help my son speak two language Korean and Vietnamese and if possible a little English also.?

  • I am Vietnamese, my husband is Korean, we comunicate in English. But now i can comunicate in Korean too. I really want my son can speak E then i try to speak E to him since he was a little boy, now he is 1 year old. But when i am tired i just want to speak my native language then i gave up seaking E to him and have spoken Vietnamese to him. But the problem is that i have not so many time beside him because i go to work. Most of time he stays with his grandparents, so he can speak some words in Korean now. How can i do to help my son can speak Korean (of course he can because we are living in Korea now), Vietnamese (only me who can speak Vietnamese to him) and a little E if possible (i and my husband comunicate in E sometimes). Pls, guys all leave me your advice. Thank you in advance

The parents of a friend of mine are russian and turkish. When they speak with each other they are using german but because of their different families both of the other two languages were spoken to my friend and she knows the basic things of both of them.

Just time and practice, if you continue speaking Vietnamese to him and around him, he'll pick it up especially at such a young age. It sounds like he'll talk Korean as his first language, and I think English will be pretty simple to pick up little bits and pieces as he gets older, but maybe for now stick to Vietnamese as he is only young you don't want to confuse him.

Let him be academically competent, by putting discipline and order. "Spare the rod, Spoil the child" I am not a psychologist or educator. Though I will give some of my opinion. I am quadlinguist. I always believe your child has lot of potentials, their brains is like sponge, having language skills for a child can be the future driver of your child's growth, besides arithmetic, artistic skills. He needs to improve first his musical skills, then he can learn many language as he can. And later on maybe he will be a future translator or good overseas community builder in Korea. On your free time, you can devise a Kumon like language-learning exercise system based on your experience. His activity sheet language, then xerox the language sheet many times until child perfects it. 1. Let music lessons be accompanied with Korean and English language first. A little bits for a day. 2. And let the child learn Vietnamese language later by hiring a Vietnamese relative/teacher or go to Vietnamese language center. Vietnamese Exercise http://iteslj.org/v/v/ Korean Exercise http://talktomeinkorean.org http://iteslj.org/v/k/ This will help you a lot :D You put your child on star classes/ community so he can learn much. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApMBNJnukvdACyJRsAHwDZnty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20101020210548AAbCdBA
