  • "As the morning of the sixth day dawned, Lindu looked around the clearing. The flowers had all wilted. The bright feathers had been trampled underfoot. The sweet smell of the herbs had blown away with the breeze." To summarize, a goddess got stood up by her husband (the northern lights) at their wedding and she was very sad. This quotation was said the day after her unsuccessful marriage. Do you have any idea how I can "analyze" this quotation? On my worksheet it says, "analyze the quotation, reinforcing how a quotation reveals insight about characterization, theme, setting, mood, etc..
