What is the educational kids PC game from the 90's?

What is the name of this (possibly 90s) pc game?

  • I've been driving myself crazy thinking of the name of a pc game from the 90s. it had a fox dressed in blue military-looking attire. the game started with the fox in a dungeon-like room and once he's out he's in the forest or jungle or something. you go through obstacles and collect coins as you go. it is played using the keyboard arrows and he has an accent when he talks (could be an english accent but i don't remember). he also carries a sword! can anyone please tell me what the name of this game is???

if he looks more like a racoon with a blue barette type hat and carries a sicle or sythe type object i'm pretty sure that it's be sly cooper. but if he has more of a grey futurestic battle suit then it's fox.
