How good is the BT-4 paintball marker?

What paintball good paintball marker can i get for less than $250?

  • I'm thinking about getting started with paintball and need to get the basic stuff(marker, hopper, tank, mask). I'm fine buying used on eBay or any other site you know about. I'll be playing mostly woodsball. A whole package new or used under $350 would be good. I've been looking at Tippmann 98 Custom Pro A.C.T., Empire Invert Mini(used), Smart Parts Ion(used), and Tippmann A-5. If you have any advice on those 4, that'd be great. Thanks!

    Mate ur askin in the wrong place. Want advice from the real ballers get on http://www.pbnation.com/ Better chance of gettin a decent marker then cos ppl will not only help u out but people will be sellin theres... Id rather buy a second hand ego8 for £300 than a tipmann A5 or summat. Either way, plenty of links on there to pb online shops too. Invert mini is a very nice start up marker. Low end price but can compete easily with the mid/top end markers like etek/ego/dms. If you wanna look the part for woodball ie all the camo etc then the tipmanns have all the add ons like m16 packs etc but the invert mini will outgun all Tipmann and BT markers pretty easily. Anyways, get on the forums n pop this Q cos thats where the best people to ask are. Fyi, Empire Vents or JT Proflex are top masks. I like Diablo paint but thats personal preference fella.
