Ds calibration problem?

How do i get ds lite to calibrate properly?

• I just bought a used DS Lite from gamestop this morning and when using it i noticed that calibration was a bit off, so i went to the calibrating screen and after 10 mins of hitting the + signs the DS finally said it was calibrated and on the next screen where you can test it, i tried pressing on the right hand + signs and they were way off and the middle of the screen is off by a few mm, which doesn't seem like much but can be real annoying playing a game trying to do something precise and not being able to do it because it is off center. Anyways, now when i calibrate the DS it works in like 15 secs and all the + signs on the test screen are perfect, but the middle of my DS screen is still off by the same amount. the screen is as clean as can be so i know that isn't the problem. I'm thinking of just trying to return it to gamestop and testing my luck with another one but i wanted to see if there was anything i could do first. Help? =[

  I have a Ds light as well, the screen gets dirty a lot so I bought the screen protector slips that go on the bottom and top screen, after a while i had the same problem you do. The solution was simple i just took the protector off. If your problem doesn't get solved another way, check the bottom screen for a screen protector its completely possible because the Ds was preowned
