What are some ideas for home-made, original, fun games?

What are some ideas for home-made, original, fun games? So for my Data Management and Probability class, 10% of my mark will come from a game we have to make up. Doesn't necessarily have to be a board game but it needs to last about 30 mins, accommodate 2-4 players, and have at least one random element (ie cards, dice, spinner, etc.), two random elements would be better though cause then it's easier to do the write-ups we have to do afterwards. The thing is, if I just make a variation of an already existing game, the highest I can get is like 75%. So it needs to be completely original. I'm not very creative, so all my ideas seem bad..thus far. I was wondering if you guys had any ideas or could help me out a bit? The more fun the better. Thanks in advance!

Answer:
you should play ENOUGH! its a game where each player has a notebook page and writes down 5 categories:name, last name, animal, thing, country or city. someone starts saying the alphabet and the player next to the alphabet player says ENOUGH! whenever he/she wants, when that happens, the letter where the alphabet player stops is the one where u need to list a name for every category with that letter, for example, the letter was A,so u put:name:Alessandra, last name:Arace, animal:ant, thing:apple, countr… or city:Alaska or Arkansas. then, when someone´s got all its categories filled he/she says ENOUGH!,then, everybody has to stop. Then for each thing u putted u have points, for example if nobody had the same name or thing or city etc...,u have 100 points,if u and other player had the same name,thing,etc...,its 50 points, and if u and 2 more players and more in some cases have the same name,thing,city,etc...,its 25 points,u also have to make a TOTAL category where u put the points for each game.
