If you have a GBA Pokemon Game in your DS while playing Diamond, then yes, certain Pokemon will appear. Here is a list of them for each game: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Dongle After you gain the National Pokedex (by seeing all the Pokemon available at first), you can also go the Pal Park, where you transfer Pokemon from your GBA game at the title screen, then catch them at the Pal Park (once you do this though, you CANNOT put them back on the GBA game).
