Sims 3 wont work!! why?

Go to Start then My Computer, double click on the Sims CD that should show in there and see if that brings up what you need.

A few things to do: *Go to my PC and double clic on the sims CD icon *Go to my PC, and right clic sims cd and select EXPLORE, and find a file wich ends or is the type ".exe" Like sims2.exe The sims 2 cd wont appear on my computer and when u clic on it says instert CD into drive X? Try cleaning the CD gently, but if it wont detect it, its faulty, return it to the store IMEDIATLY and get ur money back XD. Hope this helps ^-^

the same thing is happening to me, except when i try it on a different computer it works fine. however, that other computer doesnt have enough memory for me to instal it. go figure.

I dunno, but I kinda think it's disappointing. I played it and I don't love it.

My friend had a problem exactly like that when she tried to download Sims 2 on her laptop. It turned out that her computer was too new for the graphics so your problem is probabley Sim-ilar (excuse the pun! :D). Your computer is probabley too old. I know its such a shame but it wont work unless you use it on a different computer. SORRY!!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
