Physics Help!?

Physics help!1 plz help d questons east bt nt gtng it plz help physics help urgent needed!!?

  • newton third law states to evry action is an opposite n equal reaction. so though d manitude is same but still the object moves. y these forces dont cancel each other? ive read the answer to this question is that coz the action n reaction forces act on diferent object so the forces dont get cancaled. my question is how? plz tell me how? how how how? ne more thing if any profesor or a phsics teacher is answering this, also rite about that. thanks in advance to al!!! im not gtng this plz help me!!! im woried!!

  • Answer:

suppose object A heads on object B.the force that the object B apply on A is same in magnitude but inverse in direction to the force that the object A apply to B,like you say.but if want to focus on the motion of object B we just consider the forces applied on B not to A . and the sum of the forces applied to B is not 0.we can compute that with F=ma,and now think of Newton's Third Law about the system that includes action and reaction forces, but when you are looking at only one object you only consider the applied forces ,otherwise you would get 0 all the time like you say.

I just answered that. How it works is that you actually transfer the energy of the return push through another object, or absorb it yourself. Think about how you can push a smaller block easily, and larger ones you would need to lean into them or push off of another wall to move them. The rason for this is that the equal and opposite reaction is too much for you to absorb so you must fransfer the force into a larger object like a wall or the ground. Even if you can generate the force required to push something you must be able to withstand the reactive force. If you cannot understand this ask your teacher.
