How to determine point is Inside the Triangle?

Triangle resistors in physics circuits?

  • http://img195.imageshack.us/i/1965alt.gif/ E = 10 V, R1 = 13 k and R2 = 22 k. (a) Determine the current through the 10 V battery. (Assume upward is positive.) (b) Determine the potential difference between points a and b, Va - Vb. For (b) is it just like the V at point a - the V at point b? So 10V-18V? I don't get what they're asking for, and we never covered resistors in a triangle shape in class and they aren't in our book either. I have another one similar as a bonus, its just a triangle with a separate resistor on the side and one battery: http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/3719/1970alt.gif is that one solved the same way as the one I have listed earlier?
