Therefore a straight line, both horizontal (meaning y = constant for all x) or inclined (meaning "y = mx + b" relationship) are considered "curves" in the mathematical jargon sense. IF U've got a horizontal straight line (curve) for a plot of V-t and UR asking what the relationship (equation) is for P-t, it's 'one power' of t higher. So if V = k {where k = constant} for the V-t plot - here the power of t = 0, then the P-t plot would be in the form of "P = kt + b" where the power of t = 1 also whether or not "b" existed could NOT be determined from the plot of V-t alone, U'd need 'initial conditions' to determine that.
