How can blue and dark brown eyes make green?

Answer:
For example, both of my parents have either black, or brown hair, and my father's brother is blonde. Blonde hair / blue eyes can skip a generation or skip around. It's all about genetics. For example because your friends brother has green eyes, because they are genetically related, it can skip through and all of his nieces and nephews could have green eyes if their parents all have blue or brown eyes. It's really neat. It doesn't have anything to do with mixing colors like a green eyed woman and a blue eyed man will not make a brown eyed child because it was mixed together, if they have a brown eyed child, it will be because the child has an aunt, uncle, or grandparent with brown eyes. Parents carry this in their genes, even though it doesn't effect them, it may effect their child.

I would make you a punnett square with all the percantages for your specific case and give a detailed explanation. But its 3 AM and im tired. So lets just say that theres more then one allele deciding the outcome for the child.
Dylan
Its probably recessive.
Bethanie Smith
It's a recessive gene the odds of that happening though are very slim
Jeff
Both parents must have the recessive gene of green eyes
kay kayy
It would have to do with the genes of the parents.
