What's a good Diet/excursie for a 14 year old vegetarian? What's a good fitness plan?

I'm 14 Im 108 lbs and 5'2 girl =) And Veggie!! How freaky is that lol. Wel I've had trouble with eating etc.. so I understand that you probably shouldn't listen to me becuase I'm a bad role model. One thing I will say is... Dont cut out meals. It makes you put wieght on! I cut out lunches to make myself thinner and cant eat them now because I will then be sick. I have put on weight because my body scrounges all the fat it can get from other things that I eat because it thinks that I might not give it food one day so it stores it. My solution to this is that I cut out just about everything except fruit and veg. Even any quorn I eat which is quite healthy turns to fat so i cant eat that now. Thats just a warning to you babes.. dont cut out meals. What you should do is just eat generally less at meal times - leave a bit on your plate wherever possible (eat all the veg etc but leave stuff like quorn, and dont eat puddings) Dont calorie count because that doesn't matter because you usually burn them up anyway, but do check the SATURATES on all foods. Good foods are like Special K because they contain low saturates. Your GDA of saturates is 20g, cut this down to 12-15g per day x hope this helps. and do be careful honey xx [edit] Ohh,, and try doing stomach crunches before bed. Ohh,, and chickpeas are good. Try them in a fresh/tinned plum tomato sauce thats homemade because then you can fill it out with veg that you like and it wont have anything dody in it xx (chickpeas are full of protein, so are lentils beans and pulses) xx

I'm 14, a vegetarian, 5'1", and 104 pounds. I'd say I'm in good shape. I eat a lot of fake meats, only Boca and Morning Star brands. They have like only a gram less of protein than normal meat, next to no fat, and no cholesterol. My favorites are Boca chicken patties and Morning Star Italian sausages. I also like this fettuccine alfredo stuff that comes in a box, it's really good. Okay-- an ab slide is a little thing that does for your body what crunches/sit ups would do, without hurting my back, and it also helps work out your arms. So, every day after dinner, I do 20-50 crunch things on my ab slide, 20-50 squats, and 10-30 push ups. The numbers all depend on how much energy I have. And every night I go for a walk around two blocks with my dogs, so I guess I'd count that too. I'm in really good shape, and everyone says so. Even though I didn't need to, in the three months I've been a vegetarian I've lost six pounds, and I'm pretty sure I'll lose more, and with my little work outs I'll be gaining muscle.
