Why are there bumps on my hymen?

  • Okay, I am very nervous about asking this but I would really like some feedback from some girls that may have the same problem. I have looked everywhere on the net and it seems like no one really has the same problem as me. I have small bumps around my hymen and in my vagina. I know these are not due to ingrown hairs because hairs do not grow there. This is not in anyway a yeast infection because I already got myself checked for that. These bumps do not itch, burn, or sting when I touch them, they just look like little pimples. I am a virgin so I know it is not anything serious. I do masturbate with a vibrator but I do not put it inside (if this info maters). I have gotten myself checked out by the doctor but she did not look at it much and says they are just bumps from my hymen breaking, and I have never heard of that before and to me it sounds ridiculous. She also said I do not have genital warts. These bumps look gross! I really want to get rid of them but it helps to know what is really going on down there first. I do not want to ask my mom for me to go to the doctor again because I am nervous she is just going to say the same thing and her not help me. I really want to get rid of this, these bumps look like I do have something when I really don't. It scares me for the future, to the point where I never want anyone to touch, look, or even mention anything down there, I don't either! If you read all of that then thank you, and I hope to get helpful responses.

Well I would say forsure u don't have to worry if the doctor says they're just bumps. And if the hymen is breaking it could be the result of ur so called "bumps" it just means ur hymen is breaking as u said, which also means if it breaks completely, based on the info given, then ur bumps should go away. As for the "looks" part, I'm not sure if I can help cos idk what they look like u can email me pics if u'd like. Other than that not sure how I can help with that part.
